A beautiful autumn day that started with a very moving service at St Chads with a good turn out from RAF Shawbury and the town.  The address from the Rev Alastair Bissell, Chaplain at Shawbury, was extremely moving.  Outside, in the glorious sunshine, we gathered to reflect in silence and lay wreaths.  Police and RAF cadets on duty – another police cadet keeled over – they must learn to have breakfast before they come out!   Another Spitfire fly past, you never tire of the sound it makes, brought things to a close.
