It seems to be RAF season. The timing of this reception was ideal because it coincided with the announcement that the future of the base was secure. It was also the 50th Anniversary of the Defence School of Photography being based at Cosford. Annabel and I had a long and fascinating chat with one of the teachers at the school. The evening ended with a Sunset Guard of Honour, a good speech from Station Commander, Group Captain Mark Hunt and a Spitfire flypast.
