Picked up by a Rolls Royce no less.  The roller didn’t have a reverse gear so when we came across another car on the narrow Lordstone Lane it led to an interesting Mexican stand-off. The people of Worthen and Brockton come together for this fete and a lot of people clearly go to enormous trouble to put it on.  A brass band, vintage cars, a Pimms bar and an outside bar from the Cock Inn – how could you not have fun.  The sun shone too and the event was very well supported.   Thank you to Derek Tomley and the committee for inviting us and arranging the wheels.
