At the invitation of The High Sheriff of Herefordshire, The Reverend Lady Lisvane, Veronica and I attended The Shrievalty Service held at Hereford Cathedral. We enjoyed an excellent lunch in College Hall in the cathedral precincts, attended by a good sprinkling of senior judges and visiting High Sheriffs. The service in the beautiful Cathedral was very moving and included an inspiring sermon by the Bishop of Hereford, focusing on the work of the High Sheriff to combat isolation.
