At the invitation of Mr John Hudson, OBE DL, High Sheriff of the West Midlands, Veronica and I attended the Annual Justice Service at The Cathedral Church of St Philip in Birmingham. The service was a splendid affair with excellent singing by the Cathedral Choir and a sermon preached by The Right Reverend Keith Sinclair, Bishop of Birkenhead. John organised a very welcome reception afterwards, where we saw the High Sheriffs of Staffordshire and Worcestershire.
