I attended a meeting in Oswestry at the Gatacre Pavillion of Connect for Life, a day support group which meets once a week on Wednesdays for 10.30 am to 2.30 pm and provides a two course lunch. The charity aims to combat isolation by providing brain stimulating activities in a happy environment for those suffering from dementia, and to provide respite for their carers. The charity is looking for local musicians to come and play on a regular basis and for local artists to lead art classes.
