The High Sheriff attended Morville C of E Primary School, near Bridgnorth, to see the school’s excellent facilities and to meet Di Malyon : acting Headmistress;  Sue Blackburn: newly appointed Head Mistress;  Sian Lines: Hereford Diocese;  Hugh Patterson: Morville Vicar;  Sue Tounsley: Chair of Governors;  Fiona Thompson: Governor.

Morville School is moving from the Local Authority to Academy status having been sponsored by the Hereford Diocese. Sue Blackburn will be taking over as Head Mistress in conduction with her other headship at Coalbrookdale School.

The school has wonderful facilities, including a forest area where pupils take lessons on a Friday – ‘Farm Friday’ – subject to the weather. School looks well set to attract a number of new local children for the forthcoming academic year in September.
