Thursday, 6th November Telford College of Arts and Technology

On Thursday 6th November, the High Sheriff visited Telford College of Arts and Technology for the formal opening of their new £3.5m state of the art Automotive Engineering Centre on the invitation of Mr Chris Scott, the Principal of the College. The Centre was opened by Matt Neal, three times BTCC Champion and current Honda Yuasa racing driver. Matt confirmed that the equipment at the Centre, supplied by Snap on Tools, was of the highest specification and the facilities the best he had seen in an FE College. He suggested there was a great career for students in this field.d mdv

“The College continues to seek more dealer/partners in the automotive distribution and servicing trades within Shropshire to offer work experience/apprenticeships and maybe jobs to students from the College”, said Mr John Hillman , Head of the Automotive School at TCAT.
