Part of the Sainsbury’s School Games programme.  The festival aims to encourage the young to live active and healthy lives and gives them a chance to show off their talents.  Young people, through the Youth Forum, helped put the event on and 150 young people acted as Officials on the day.  Impressive Opening Ceremony with dance performances and music, interesting presentations and a great day in the sun.  The whole of the sports village was alive and buzzing as children took part in activities from Arrows Archery to Kwik Cricket via Cycling, Rounders, Golf and many other activities.  Well done to everyone involved.
