At the invitation of the Management Committee, I attended a morning with Shrewsbury and Oswestry Crucial Crew at Nescliffe Army Barracks. Crucial Crew is attended each year by c 1,500 children aged 11-12 years from primary schools across North Shropshire. I was extremely impressed with the diversity of excellent presentations on safety (including fire, railway, electrical and on the farm) and other challenges (including alcohol, drugs and cyber bullying).
