The High Sheriff was invited to come to the start of a 3 1/2 day enterprise course held by the Prince’s Trust in Telford for young people considering a career of self employment.  Mr Richard Sutcliffe,  Programme Director for the Trust based in Stoke, was leading the course and the High Sheriff was invited to provide a few words on the role of the High Sheriff and especially to speak of the pluss’ and minus’ of running ones own business.
