Veronica and I visited Battle Back, a rehabilitation centre for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans, funded by the the Royal British Legion. We were met by Chris Joynson, the Operations Manager, and given a briefing on the approach that they take to rehabilitating those who attend their week-long courses and the activities that they run. This was followed by a tour of the living quarters and a visit to a gym where an archery lesson was in progress. We were very impressed with the work that the staff at Battle Back do and the evident care and attention to detail that they bring to the task. It is wonderful to see this level of care being provided for our armed forces.
