Veronica and I attended Derwen College’s production of “Time Warp” this morning, a one hour show charting the history of Derwen College over the last 90 years, which was an excellent demonstration of the enthusiasm and commitment from both students and staff. We were very kindly entertained to lunch by Meryl Green (Principal) and Louise Keevil (Director, Charity & Corporate Services)  in the Orangery Restaurant together with the Mayor of Oswestry, Vince Hunt. I then had the pleasure of opening the Summer Fete and Open Day, which was extremely well attended.

I thoroughly recommend everyone to support this excellent charity, which works with young people who suffer from learning difficulties and aims to transform lives through inspirational learning and development. (See www.visitderwen.co.uk).
